Council Members
Members of the Council come from a variety of different disciplines from the health sector as well as from local parishes. They have a wealth of experience in the healing ministry as well as a desire to see God's healing power ministered to all.

Revd Gerald Hovenden, Chairman Team Rector of the Southborough Team Ministry, involved in the charismatic movement and Christian healing since 1971. He has written an academic book entitled ‘Speaking in Tongues: The New Testament Evidence in Context’, and is also passionate about ecumenical relationships. He is currently Chairman of the Southborough Fellowship of Christian Churches and is a Governor at St Gregory’s RC Comprehensive School. He is working on a PhD looking at Paul’s response to division in the early church.
Revd Chris Dench Assistant Director of Ministry and Training (CME and Vocations) for the Diocese of Rochester.
Revd Amanda Evans Diocesan Coordinator for Healing & Wholeness in the Canterbury Diocese and the Bishop's Advisor as well as Chaplain to The Living Well in Nonington, a Christian Centre for Healing & Wholeness.

Dr Elizabeth Procter Medical Consultant in Child Psychiatry.
Revd Andrew Procter Rector of Shipbourne with Plaxtol, Sevenoaks and author of "A Month among the Vines", where he shares his experience of working with the L'Arche community in France. 
Rev Dr Nick Read Priest-in-Charge at Holy Trinity Beckenham.
Managed a community project in the East End of London working with the homeless and long-term unemployed.  Worked as a counsellor at Burrswood and at two GP practices.  20 years in medical research. 
Mrs Carol Stone Chief Executive of The Ellenor Foundation, Hospice at Home in Dartford and the Lions Hospice, Northfleet.  Previously Nurse Manager with the NHS.
Dr Gareth Tuckwell Chief Executive of Burrswood, Christian Healing Hospital in Groomsbridge, Tunbridge Wells.  Gareth was a member of the working party that published ‘A Time to Heal’, a report for The House of Bishops on the Healing Ministry in 2000. He co-authored ‘A Question of Healing’ (reprinted by Eagle in 2000) and was a member of the working party on the impact of hospice experience on the ministry of healing.
